One of the big themes on Watch the Throne is just how much money these two have.  Besides the production of the album which found the two renting suites in New York, Paris and Australia, hiring the best producers in the game and licensing some of the most expensive samples around from the estates of Otis Redding, James Brown and Curtis Mayfield, the two even wrote a track called N*ggas in Paris and all throughout the album talk about Maybachs, Benzes and supermodels, no place for the poor in spirit.  The Spike Jonze-directed video for the first single Otis featured a crew of body artists destroying and tricking out a Maybach and a temporary designer boutique opened in SoHo to display the altered vehicle, and, of course, sell albums.  Even the store was wrapped in the elegant Givenchy-designed album cover art.  Jay Z recently spent $250,000 on dinner for his crew and left a $50,000 tip.  Whether it’s branding, flaunting or just sheer stupidity, Kanye West and Jay Z seem to be well aware that they will be rolling in money for whatever they decide to do for the rest of their lives.

Back in January when Kanye West announced that he and Jay Z would be collaborating on a full length LP, fans took note.  Even the title of the album Watch the Throne suggests royalty and an epic nature.  The first single H.A.M. was brazen and loud, tuned to the highest decibel with a skittering beat, operatic vocals  and lyrics about the Hard Ass Mother F*ckers behind the record.  In an interview Jay Z mentioned that people couldn’t have H.A.M. blaring out of the speakers in their house all day so the two settled on a more subtle, understated tone.  So far Watch the Throne has been a raging success, breaking Coldplay’s album sales records and accomplishing what these two hip hop icons set to do, which was protect the hip hop throne.  Jay Z and Kanye tickets to see these to on tour are on sale now, don’t miss out!

It seems this could be the biggest Coachella Festival yet, and fans are eager to see the premier festival in music. Tickets for Coachella sold out in five days, a new record. And it seems like Kanye West is ready to put on a show: “POWER RUNAWAY HELLOFALIFE MONSTER JESUSWALKS FLASHING LIGHTS CANTTELLMENOTHING HAM…. I’m just thinking of my Coachella set list rt now” West tweeted. While Coachella kicks off on Friday, April 15, Kanye West is set to take the stage on Sunday, April 7

This marks the second appearance at the desert concert, as Kanye was added late to the 2006 Coachella Festival. He also played the Bonnaroo Festival as well as Lollapalooza in 2008. Other hip hop acts performing at the 2011 Coachella Festival include Wiz Khalifa, Nas & Damian Marley, Cee Lo Green, A-Trak, Eryka Badu and Lauryn Hill along with rockers like the Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Duran Duran, The Black Keys, Cage the Elephant and dozens more.

It looks like Kanye West appearance at the 2011 Coachella Festival is going to be an experience of a lifetime, so check it out!

“She’s talented and so incredible that she’s not an opening act,” Kanye West told Rolling Stone. “We’re doing it together, with no opening act.” As any diehard Kanye West fan knows, he is a big admirer of Lady Gaga and even sampled hew “Poker Face” track for his latest collaboration with Kid Cudi. That has been one of the most imspired hip hop tracks in a long time, so you can be pretty sure that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga tour is going to be crazy-spectacular.

While details are still surfacing, Kanye West has said they will co headline. Ticket News has specualted they could share the stage for the whole show. Both West and Lady Gaga are no stranger to life on tour. We all remember Kanye’s awesome Glow in the Dark tour which saw him march all over the U.S. with stars like Lupe Fiasco, Rihanna, N.E.R.D. and Chris Brown. The first U.S. Lady Gaga tour wrapped up earlier this spring, and she is going to Europe later this summer.
